Sometimes we soak in the Sun, it feels so good. So immediate. So powerful. So now. But …it’s not fresh. It’s old 👴 

See » it’s just an illusion. None is getting immediate light from the Sun. It’s all delayed light.

Sunlight travels to Earth in about 8 minutes. Delayed.

But if we got sunlight right NOW, that means we’d be too close to the sun. We’d burn up. Literal toast 🔥🥖 

We need the delay. It actually benefits us.

Embrace the delay.

We know that right, but we forget. Well, at least I forget. And sometimes I WANT the deal, the money, the house, the waistline, the kiss right now! We hustle and hustle. Still nothing. It’s 🆗 

It’s just a little 8 minute delay. It’s coming. Keep hustling!!

Sunlight reaches Mercury in 3 minutes, 5.5 hours to Pluto 🥶 Our delay is starting to look like a pretty sweet deal. Just right for us. Go Earth 🏆️

Wake up early tomorrow (it’s okay » you can sleep in the day after). Not to get everything done on your list, or be part of the ‘5am club’. Just to wait.

Be outside bundled up. And wait. The 🌞 comes when it’s ready, not when you call for it!

Let it come to you. Notice when it breaks the horizon, it’s not the full 27M degrees, it’s gradual.

Even with all the pending utility and power and reliability, it still happens gradually. Patience ensures sustainable progress.
